He highlighted a few of their new products, starting with their new TPO coated edge metal. Rick explained, “It saves the contractor a lot of time in comparison to the old way they used to do it. With this, they just need to clean the spot and put the cover strip that's already pre-bent on. Then they can hand weld and it’s ready to go!”  

He also showcased their free attached membrane for edge metal and their scuppers. Both of these are also designed to save contractors time by being pre-fabricated. Rick explained how this drives all of their development, “Contractors don't want to fabricate these out in field, so we made them ready to go, ready to be installed...so any kind of pipe penetrations, drainage, venting, we do it all.” And not only do they have a wide range of products in stock, the FlashCo team is also able to design made-to-order and full custom parts for contractors with unique projects.

Opening a new, larger manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, FlashCo will better support their legacy business which continues to grow in the northeast.

FlashCo recently announced plans to expand operations in its Northeast U.S. market with a new manufacturing facility in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. The new manufacturing and distribution facility will be the largest of FlashCo’s nine plants located throughout the U.S. The new plant will feature the latest state-of-the-art technology to produce FlashCo’s product lines of roof flashings, edge metal, accessories and coated metal.

“We’re extremely excited to be expanding in this region, especially since the acquisition of Metkote Laminated Products in Taylor, Pennsylvania,” says Greg Morrow, FlashCo President. “The new facility is more than twice the size and will better support FlashCo’s legacy business which is growing in the northeast. FlashCo has experienced tremendous growth since its founding in 2000 and I’m thrilled that we can invest in this region and facility to better serve our customers.”
