Schechtl shears are the leading architectural shears in the industry because they were intelligently designed from decades of sheet metal experience. Schechtl MSC is designed for heavy duty thicker steel and is a motor driven plate shear. Besides allowing the heaviest cutting of up to 11 gauge the MSC also has cutting lengths of more than 14 feet. Our most popular are the 10 foot 11-gauge and 13 foot 12-gauge versions. On the heavier gauge MSC shears there are five front support arms with T-slots, scales and gauge fingers for easy front gauging.

All machines include a 40” squaring arm with inlaid scales. Longer squaring arms with T-slots and front gauging stops are also available. The deeper 30” backgauge (compared to 24” of competitors) gives more flexibility. Optional rollout wagon allows for easier unloading and moving of cut sheets. The machine frame is a sturdy welded steel design.
