Catching up With A.C.T Metal Deck Supply

2023 has been an eventful year for the A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply crew! Here are some of the highlights. 

A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply is a trusted source for all things metal deck! A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply, located out of Aurora, Illinois, distributes metal deck and metal deck accessories across the nation and prides themselves on being a reliable source for their community’s metal needs.  

The A.C.T. crew are committed to finding new opportunities to network and help both their local communities and the metal industry at large. 2023 has been an eventful year, and here are some of the highlights from A.C.T!  

A.C.T. crew attended the IRE 2023 Expo!  

Every year, companies and individuals in the roofing industry from across the globe come together to celebrate the latest and greatest innovations in roofing. The International Roofing Expo (IRE) is a place where professionals can meet face-to-face with peers and competitors alike while learning and exploring over the three-day event. In attendance this year was the team from A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply!   

At the expo, Lauren White, Coffee Shop editor, and Michael Polizzi from A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply were able to meet up and chat about A.C.T.’s role in the industry and what sets them apart in the industry. Their team is excited for what’s in store for 2023 and the years ahead as the leading experts in all things metal deck.  

Giving back to the community  

A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply is dedicated to giving back to their community and has been a proud supporter of the Amate House for the last twenty years. And they always look forward to supporting and being a part of the organization’s largest fundraiser, Amate Magic. This year marked the 39th annual gala event and it was casino themed! The event was held April 22, and highlighted the organization’s mission and focus on the community they fundraise for.  

Amate House is dedicated to developing young adult leaders who are focused on social justice advocation and leadership development within their church and the world.

A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply has put together educational videos in their YouTube series, Metal Deck 101, which gives industry professionals a resource to enhance their knowledge about metal decks and metal deck accessories. This series also addresses many frequently asked questions that contractors have concerning metal decking.  

The video library contains 13 videos, in both English and Spanish, and can be found on their web and mobile sites, in addition to YouTube.
