The Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) continues to lead the advancement of metal building systems through research, advocacy, technical development and education. One of the most meaningful ways the association highlights this work is through its Industry Advocate Awards program, which recognizes the companies that consistently step up to support and strengthen the wider metal building community.
For more than sixty years, MBMA has played a central role in developing building codes and standards, improving safety, supporting sustainability and driving innovation across the metal construction industry. Its members include manufacturers, suppliers, engineers and industry partners who lend their time and expertise to improve how metal buildings are designed, constructed and used. The Industry Advocate Awards shine a light on the associate member companies that make exceptional contributions to these efforts.
The awards are presented at bronze, silver and gold levels based on each company’s depth of participation throughout the year. Many companies support MBMA initiatives, and a select group earns recognition for their outstanding commitment. Among this year’s honorees are Sherwin-Williams and Roof Hugger at the silver level, Therm-All at the bronze level, and Silvercote and S-5! at the gold level. These represent only a portion of the full list of companies recognized for their involvement and leadership.
While each award-winning company brings its own expertise — coatings, insulation, retrofit solutions, engineered attachments and more — the heart of the Industry Advocate Awards is the collective impact these partners make. The program underscores how much MBMA’s mission depends on strong collaboration. Through committee work, technical research, workforce education and consistent advocacy, member companies help advance metal building systems as a preferred solution for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.
By honoring these contributors, MBMA reinforces the importance of shared responsibility in moving the industry forward. The awards highlight that true progress is achieved not through individual accomplishments but through a unified commitment to quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
As the metal building sector continues to grow and evolve to meet demands for efficiency, resilience and design flexibility, MBMA’s Industry Advocate Award winners play an essential role in shaping the future. Their engagement ensures that the industry remains strong, innovative and ready to meet the needs of the built environment for years to come.
