Central States Manufacturing Appoints Jennifer Davis as New Chief Market Officer

The first of this role in the company’s 35-year history reflects growing opportunities for innovation and market leadership.

Central States Manufacturing, Inc., a leader in metal building components, roofing and buildings, announced the recent appointment of Jennifer Davis to the newly created position of Corporate Market Officer, where she will oversee the marketing, strategy and innovation functions at the company while serving as executive leader of the growing Central Storage Works business. Davis will report to Jim Sliker, the CEO and serve on the executive leadership team.

Davis brings more than two decades of executive marketing, operations and general management experience at leading companies like LEARFIELD, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Honeywell, Planar and Intel. She is the author of the book, “Well Made Decisions” (New Degree Press, 2021) about organizational decision making and strategy implementation.

Davis earned her MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration and history from Warner Pacific University, where she was named an alumnus of the year. She holds an ESOP Board Governance certification from the Private Directors Association and serves on the advisory boards of several private companies.
