The Metal Construction Association has published its 2025 MCA Market Study of the metal roof and wall market, the most comprehensive study of the metal construction industry to date.
Published annually, the MCA Market Study combines industry data from leading manufacturers of metal construction products. It offers an analysis on growth, shipments, and market share for metal walls and roofs, along with other relevant factors. It provides a comprehensive view of past and current market trends, the impact of tariffs, as well as forecasts through 2029, helping companies better position themselves for future market conditions and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
“This year’s report shows 160% growth over the next decade, broken down by product and market sector,” says MCA Chair Chandler Barden. “It’s an essential tool for anyone working in the metal construction industry.”
While all product segments are projected to grow, the report indicates that the strongest growth will be in the Insulated Metal Panels segment, as well as the commercial and institutional markets.
MCA commissioned FMI Consulting to develop the 64-page report, which includes quantitative market data to inform the marketing sizing model and results from interviews conducted with stakeholders in the metal industry, both within MCA membership and without. Secondary research is also included to incorporate existing industry data and competitive information. Market observations were developed based on an analysis of the research findings, along with the experience of FMI’s senior-level field consultants.
The 2025 MCA Market Study is free to MCA members and available for purchase to non-members at a price of $3,500.
