MetalForming to showcase their latest metal forming machinery at IRE 2024

MetalForming has partnered with Swiss machinery brand, Jorns, to bring their newest high-tech machine to the United States market.  

In October of 2023 at METALCON, RoofersCoffeeShop President Heidi J. Ellsworth sat down with Marc Jorns, owner and CEO of Jorns machinery, to discuss the exciting news of their partnership with MetalForming LLC to bring one of their latest cutting-edge technologies to the states. Marc shared his excitement for this next chapter and the chance American metal professionals will have to see the new machinery firsthand at the upcoming 2024 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas.  

IRE 2024 attendees will be among the first to see the new Jorns Parts Manipulator machinery in person at the MetalForming booth #4921. Not only will the machinery be on display, but visitors will have the opportunity to chat with the MetalForming team and Marc Jorns himself about this amazing new machine and its profile manipulation capabilities.  

“We produce long length folding machines for the metal industry. We produce single folding technology, double folding technology as well as the equipment that goes with each type of machine that aids in automation,” Marc shared. Jorns just celebrated its 50th anniversary as a company, and there’s no better way to celebrate this accomplishment than bringing the latest machinery from their line up to the North American market through their partnership with MetalForming.  

“We have a very close relationship with our dealer here in the U.S., MetalForming, we have worked together for nearly thirty years,” Marc shared. He continued, “And that relationship continues with the new MetalForming team, we’ve come to the USA several times to meet and get this connection as tight as possible and their guys have visited us as well, both sales and service. For me as a manufacturer, it’s very important that the whole supply chain is covered, not just the sales portion.”
