CIDAN Machinery Group launches ONROLL portable rollformer in the United States. True center-driven accuracy, 90 FPM speed and jobsite-ready durability for roofing pros.

CIDAN Machinery Group today announced the U.S. launch of ONROLL, a portable, true center-driven standing-seam rollformer engineered with and for roofing professionals. Built to thrive on crowded urban rooftops or remote installs, ONROLL combines precise panel formation, rapid setup and rugged reliability in a compact package.

“Roofers have asked for a portable machine that delivers plant-level consistency on the jobsite,” said Chandler Barden, president of CIDAN Machinery Inc. “ONROLL answers with centered infeed drive, fast changeovers and a control system that’s built to work in harsh conditions — all focused on reducing rework and downtime.”

Purpose-built for real-world jobsites

• True center-driven pinch-roller drive for even pull-through without torsion and smoother, more accurate seams.
• 90 FPM (28 m/min) forming speed with symmetrical width adjustment and precision linear rails for quick, parallel setup.
• Quick-change, dowel-pinned tooling with dial-in thickness adjustment (.015″ per step — no feeler gauges required.
• Roll-Link control with 10.1″ IP66 HMI and IP69K-rated PLC, designed to withstand wind-driven rain and demanding environments.
• Power options include gas and multiple electric configurations; hydraulic drive with quick disconnects for fast service.
• Two standard decoilers (3,000 lb each), NATM-compliant trailer option, runout stands and in-plant kit for flexible deployment.

Capacity and materials

ONROLL forms 30–22 ga painted mild steel, .027″–.040″ aluminum and 16–20 oz half-hard copper; coil infeed widths 15″–30″; machine weight ~4,299 pound. One set of tooling is standard, with multiple standing-seam profiles available.

“Every feature — from the center-drive to the dial-set thickness and hinged inspection windows — exists to save crews time and protect panel quality,” added Hjelmqvist. “It’s portable, but it’s all business.”
