Bliss Roofing has been serving roofing needs in Oregon and Washington for 50 years. Our company began as Bliss Roofing Company founded by Art Bliss in 1969 where his son, Don, worked as a loader, then a roofer learning the tricks of the trade. In 1985, Don purchased the roofing division and established Bliss Roofing, Inc. In 1990, Bliss Roofing moved to our present location in Clackamas, Oregon.

COMMERCIAL ROOFING

Bliss Roofing installs multiple flat roof systems – Metal, TPO, PVC & additional roof systems. We have provided roofs for commercial buildings, storefronts, restaurants, multi-dwellings and more. We have knowledgeable estimators and installers ready to take on the requirements of these complicated jobs.

NEW CONSTRUCTION

Over the years, Bliss Roofing has installed roofs for some of the largest builders in Portland. From single family residences to multi-family dwellings. We value our longstanding relationships with our volume builders. We offer a full-service warranty and repair department to back our workmanship and quality assurance on every job. We specialize in large custom projects and have been involved in the NW Natural Street of Dreams for the past two decades. Our workmanship on these jobs is like none other. Our attention to detail and knowledge is what makes us stand out and the reason we are requested year after year!

RE-ROOFING

Reroofing can be extremely challenging in the Portland metro area. We survey the weather patterns, the contemporary and traditional roof-scapes, and the location of your building into consideration prior to starting any reroofing project.

Bliss Roofing Honored with 2023 CNA/NRCA Community Involvement Award

Dallas—In recognition of its generosity and service, Bliss Roofing Inc., Clackamas, Ore., was named the grand-prize winner of the eleventh annual CNA/NRCA Community Involvement Award sponsored by NRCA and CNA, Chicago, one of the largest U.S. commercial property and casualty insurance companies. 

The award honors charitable works performed by NRCA contractor members between Jan. 1, 2022, and Dec. 16, 2022. 

Bliss Roofing was honored for its charitable efforts with Metro Portland Housing Industry Foundation, d/b/a Home Builders Foundation. Bliss Roofing participated in four projects supported by Home Builders Foundation—a sleeping pod community for veterans, a home for girls escaping sex trafficking, a youth drop-in center and a family shelter—for vulnerable communities experiencing homelessness and housing instability. CNA awarded Bliss Roofing with $7,500 to be presented to Home Builders Foundation. In addition, NRCA dedicated the proceeds of its Cyber Monday sale in November 2022 to Home Builders Foundation. 

The second-place winner was Beck Roofing Corp., Norfolk, Va., for its charitable efforts with ForKids. Beck Roofing provided a full roof system replacement on a ForKids home. ForKids’ mission is to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty for families and children. The organization currently helps more than 250 families, including 500 children, in 14 cities and counties in southeastern Virginia. CNA awarded Beck Roofing with $5,000 for its charity. 

The third-place winner was Dan Perkins Construction Inc., Ishpeming, Mich., for its work with Bay Cliff Health Camp, which helps children ages 7-17 overcome handicaps and become more independent in a summer camp setting that is fun and challenging. The company replaced the roof of the camp’s arts and crafts building. CNA awarded Dan Perkins Construction with $2,500 for its charity. 

Additionally, the winner of the People’s Choice category was chosen via online voting. Foster Contracting Inc., Indianapolis, won the People’s Choice Award for its work with Isaiah 117 House. Foster Contracting is acting as general contractor and plans to provide a fully renovated home to Isaiah 117 House in July. The home will provide a safe and loving home for children waiting for an alternate placement, such as foster care. CNA awarded Foster Contracting with $1,500 for its charity. 

The first-, second- and third-place awards were presented March 8 at NRCA’s Awards Ceremony and Cocktail Reception held during NRCA’s 136th Annual Convention in Dallas.
