PermaBond Patch

Fiberglass-reinforced

The only structural repair is made of UV Fusion Sealant (UVFS) mixed with fiberglass reinforced polyester that will not shrink of expand during the application process or after curing.  

Waterproof

The final application is waterproof and will not rust or rot. The Permabond patch is also weather and UV-resistant making this a permanent solution. 

Fast curing

Permabond patches can be drilled, tapped, sanded or painted within one hour of curing. Under direct sunlight or with a UV light Permabond usually cures in 15 minutes or less. 

Temperature resistant

Designed to handle extreme temperatures from -40 degrees to 200 degrees Celius Permabond is ready to handle the elements.

Simple installation

• Clean the surface of any contaminates and dry. Allow for proper ventilation.
• Open the UV protectant package and cut the patch to the desired size without exposing to UV. Keep in UV-protected package until ready to apply to repair area and do not store package in direct sunlight. Place the remaining patch into UV protectant foil.
• Remove white backing tape to expose sticky resin and apply the patch to repair area with the sticky side down and press firmly to make sure the patch seals the entire area.
• Remove the clear film and expose to UV or sunlight. Curing times depend on UV intensity between 5 (sunny) and 50 minutes (cloudy) or use a UV light with a minimum of 51 lumens.
