Metal’s growing popularity and market share requires that contractors and installers understand the nuances and proper techniques for forming panels and installing metal roofing and wall systems. Understanding such factors leads to improved contractor efficiency and heightened building owner satisfaction. In this series of clinics, presenters from the Metal Construction Association and Metal Roofing Alliance will share industry best practices for the installation of metal shingles, standing-seam roofing panels, retrofit systems, and metal wall systems and will demonstrate proper techniques for on-site rollforming and machine maintenance.

This dynamic presentation outlines the game plan that brought Joe Theismann success both on and off the football field. Former NFL MVP quarterback and Super Bowl Champion, he reveals his Game Plan for Success by drawing parallels between winning in football and in business. Joe focuses on how to succeed under pressure – when it’s “4th and 1”, and how to adapt quickly to unexpected situations when you’re faced with a “blitz” instead of a zone. He urges individuals and organizations to set goals and correct errors each step of the way, an approach that builds momentum… which once on your side, would be hard for the best “defense” to stop.

Has the Federal Reserve successfully engineered a soft landing? Or, is the confluence of geopolitical conflict, a presidential election, rising consumer debt levels, and still high-interest rates conspiring to produce economic downturn in 2025? It is difficult to know whether 2025 will be a good year for the metal construction and design industry – but one thing is clear – it will be a very interesting one. This presentation will supply in-depth analysis of major factors shaping economic outcomes, including interest rates, global conflict, wage dynamics, business confidence, and demographics. It will then turn toward a forecast for the coming year, highlighting the major risks that economic stakeholders will likely encounter.

Beware of imposters! We have been informed that other companies have aggressively pursued METALCON attendees, exhibitors, partners or their companies to use their services to book guest rooms at supposedly significant discounts. Unfortunately, in the past, these have been reported as scams made through non-official housing sources.
If someone contacts you offering discounted hotel rooms outside of Globetrotter, they are NOT in any way affiliated with or endorsed by METALCON show management.
