Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal, a trusted name in commercial and residential roofing solutions, proudly announces a transition in ownership that continues its family legacy and commitment to excellence. Founded in 1996 by Mark Carpenter as a family-run business, Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal is now a majority women-owned enterprise, with Mark’s daughter, Kendall Ekerson, stepping into the role of principal owner and vice president, alongside her husband, Chris Ekerson, who will serve as president, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company.

This leadership transition ensures Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal remains dedicated to the integrity, craftsmanship and customer service that have defined the company since its inception. Kendall and Chris bring a dynamic vision for the future - embracing innovation while honoring the company’s rich history.
