Rather than spending time tearing the roof off, there are a few metal panels on the market that can be installed directly onto the old roof and provide it with a longer lifespan. The EM Retro-R metal panel can be used to retrofit an exposed fastening metal roof system. It can be installed directly over PBR or R-Panels with minimal prep work and accessories. It is coated with Galvalume® Plus and Signature® 200 and is available in 13 colors.  

This panel can be used to retrofit compatible roofs and walls with a minimum slope of ½:12.
