Simplifying construction with smart solutions

Simplifying construction with smart solutions

By Dani Sheehan.

With a customer-first approach and strategically located facilities, AWIP is built to support contractors with high-performing, sustainable insulated panel systems.

In a recent episode of Roofing Road Trips®, Karen Edwards sits down with Greg Lusty, president and CEO of All Weather Insulated Panels (AWIP), to explore how this manufacturer is helping contractors simplify commercial and industrial construction from the ground up. With a foundation built on innovation and strategic growth, AWIP is making its mark through intuitive products, trusted customer service and forward-thinking digital support.

“Our mission is to simplify the construction process,” Greg shared. “That’s what we try to accomplish through our products – but not only for our products, also our service.”

One panel, many solutions

Designed to replace several layers of materials typically used in a wall or roof system, AWIP’s insulated metal panels (IMP) arrive on site as a single component, making installation faster and more efficient. “It replaces maybe four to six different components on a typical construction job site,” Greg explained. “We’re taking all those components, all of that complexity and we’re squeezing it down into one component – allowing the designer, the engineer and the contractor to focus on one system instead of many.” By reducing the number of materials and simplifying training, delivery and installation, IMPs help you control costs and reduce risk without sacrificing performance.

Service that works as hard as the product

Aside from simplifying the process on the jobsite, AWIP is redefining what contractor support looks like with in-house technical experts, dedicated territory managers and a growing digital support team. “Reducing complexity from a service standpoint is just as important as simplifying the product itself,” Greg emphasized. “That's where our customer-first mindset comes from. And we've developed a whole set of services for our customers, whether that's a contractor or an engineer or an architect or designer.”

From answering technical questions about the assembly to providing a realistic 3D rendering of the project using AWIP panels, the company is helping contractors build trust with their customers, win more complex contracts and grow their business. With manufacturing facilities in California, Arkansas and Pennsylvania, AWIP is uniquely positioned to help, no matter where you are across the country.
