With the rise of insulated metal panels (IMPs) in the construction industry, access to training and support is one sure way to have a competitive edge. In an episode of MetalCast, Heidi J. Ellsworth spoke with Joe Paparella, vice president of sales and marketing for All Weather Insulated Panels (AWIP), to discuss AWIP’s loyalty program, IMPpro.
AWIP has a loyalty program for dealers and installers. Their dealer program is geared towards a variety of customers — from individuals buying and installing an AWIP product themselves to buyers who sell products to their own customers.
“It's all about providing value to the dealer,” Joe stated. “Whether it's the installer that's working through this dealer or whether it's recognizing and acknowledging these dealers that are our partners — what additional value can we bring to them? That was the concept of IMPpro, and that's what we're looking to accomplish with the dealer side of it.”
They have four different tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum and President's Club.
“The Silver tier has benefits that cross over into the Authorized Installer program,” Joe explained. “If you're an IMPpro dealer, we set aside a few spots that can only be filled by IMPpro dealers, knowing that if you have a new person coming on board and you want them to come through training, there's going to be a spot for you.”
He continued, “For Gold, Platinum and President's Club members, we're actively bringing them leads that we're generating from the specification side. As you go out to President's Club, some big benefits include moving the industry standard 20-year weather tightness and paint warranty up to 25 years automatically — a nice advantage. We're pretty excited about it.”
