The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) supports professionals with advocacy, technical expertise and industry resources. 

The Coffee Shops™, the award-winning online communities where the industries meet for technologies, safety, information and education for the construction trades of roofing, metal, coatings and outdoor living are pleased to welcome the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) into their community.  

Since 1960, the CRCA served as the national voice for industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) roofing professionals across Canada, advocating for collaboration, professional excellence and industry advancement from coast to coast.  

CRCA provides a wide range of services to its more than 400 members, which include some of the most knowledgeable roofing contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and industry consultants in the field. The association is committed to keeping members informed on matters of national and international interest while offering technical support, business resources and advocacy on regulations and policy issues that affect the roofing industry. 

Some of the services and benefits of membership include: 

• Technical support: Roofers, designers and specifiers have access to phone support, bulletins, standards and manuals.  
• Legal support: CRCA members have access to 30 minutes a month of free legal support through Pallett Valo LLP and 15 minutes a month of free operational support through Cotney Consulting Group.  
• Industry information: CRCA stays abreast of the latest industry news and keeps members informed through its website, bulletins and Roofing Canada magazine, for which members automatically receive a subscription  
• Events and networking opportunities: CRCA organizes key events, including the CRCA National Conference and AGM, an Annual Golf Tournament, as well as the Canadian Roofing Exposition CRE. 
• Awards and benefit opportunities: CRCA offers members a range of awards, scholarships and benefits, including the distinguished Roofing Canada Award, which recognizes outstanding workmanship, innovation and exceptional service to both the community and the roofing profession. Alongside this premier award, the CRCA provides additional awards and scholarships to honor remarkable achievements in roofing innovation, further fostering excellence within the industry. Members are also entitled to a variety of benefits that support and acknowledge their ongoing contributions to the sector.
