OSHA 10-Hour training is a 10-hour course in construction industry safety and health hazard recognition and prevention developed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the United States Department of Labor. Topics covered in the course include personal protection equipment, fall prevention, material handling, scaffolds, tool lockout, and ladder safety. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Due to the high demand of this class and the limited number of seats ARCA request to be notified of cancellations and substitutions are allowed.

There are also online Zoom OSHA courses!
This 30-hour course that will take place over 4 days on May 3, 10, 17 & 24 from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. It will be delivered as a live, two-way video conference where the in-person teaching will be conducted remotely in the same way that is taught in a physical classroom setting. You must completed all four (4) days to receive credit and your OSHA 30-Hour card. If you missed a previous OSHA 30 class this may be an opportunity to make up the missed class.

MENTOR
Roofing Contractors have a unique opportunity to pledge their support by offering yours or an employees' time to mentor a student. We believe that your expertise and guidance can play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of skilled roofing professionals. ARCA will try to match schools with mentors based on the mentor's location, either at the office or home, and facilitate the introduction between the teacher and mentor.

ARCA members have a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact by pledging $1000 to sponsor a school. These funds will be used to purchase tools and materials. Your donation will be instrumental in facilitating the growth and development of our aspiring professionals while also addressing the pressing workforce issues that the roofing industry faces.
