Basic Functions:   As a leader in the organization, oversee the marketing department to create, manage, and deliver marketing ideas and activities that support the promotion and sale of products across Metalforming supplier offerings.  Conceptualize and create materials, manage projects and events, ensuring that company messages are consistent.  Oversee marketing analysis, campaign development, content development, internal communications, brand promotion, and CRM management.

Supervision of others: None
Travel required: 25%

Nature and Scope: Metalforming LLC. is the North American leader in metal fabricating technology. The company sells and services high quality metal folders, shears, rollformers, slitters, curvers, and storage handling systems from the most respected manufacturers across the globe to the most respected manufacturers across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage market analysis data to influence growth initiatives, new product introductions, and marketing campaigns.

  • Manage brand identity with internal and external communications.

  • Manage marketing and industry events.

  • Manage internet marketing, social media, and public relations.

Essential Duties and Tasks:

  • Accomplish organization’s goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Develop and implement marketing and advertising campaigns for both Architecture and Precision segments including preparation of marketing and advertising strategies, value propositions, objectives, plans, organization, implementation, and outcomes.

  • Stay abreast of marketing trends, determine best practices, and research and present creative and new “Go to Market” ideas and concepts.

  • Collaborate with product manufacturers to develop sales tools and product information to educate both internal and external stakeholders on product features and their benefits.

  • Research, evaluate, and source viable third-party providers.  Interface with providers with RFQ’s and evaluate the subsequent proposals.  Project manage key initiatives to ensure on-time completion within stated budget.

  • Act as primary liaison with third party providers to develop strategic campaigns for all product lines, establish goals, and measure results.

  • Create, edit, optimize, and publish marketing materials as needed (catalog flyers, brochures, application guides, etc.).  Research, trial, and utilize new methods for effectively communicating marketing messages.

  • Ensure messages contained in collateral and on website are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.

  • Oversee SEO, social media content, and postings.

  • Promote products and services through public relations initiatives (press releases, trade shows, buyer’s guides, etc.)

  • Plan and execute marketing events by overseeing process, collateral, and staff, managing budgets, and evaluating ROI and other benefits of participation in such events.

  • Identify and execute creative ways to obtain customer feedback, evaluate feedback, and propose solutions/methods for continuous improvement.

  • Maintain and promote CRM for lead generation and pushing through opportunities.

  • Work with department heads to create marketing budgets and manage expenses.

Education, Experience, Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, or related fields

  • 10+ years of experience in a B2B marketing role

  • 5+ years of experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

  • “Can-do” attitude and high standards for work

  • Analytical mind with eye for creativity

  • Teamwork and leadership orientation
