For many people, sales come naturally, but for others it can take more time, energy and dedication to achieve success. And sometimes, all you need is a solid method to succeed. That is exactly what Grosso University has to offer as their students enter the world of metal roofing.
At Grosso University, they are firm proponents of the “whatever you believe, you can achieve” mentality, but that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get to that point. The Grosso University handbook states, “There are those who claim they are natural born salespeople, but we know that all the greatest ones have been trained and simply never give up!” This sentiment was and continues to be carried out by Grosso University’s founder, Dominic Caminata.
Dominic entered the metal roofing world in 2010 with zero sales experience. This made his first few months in sales tough. His first month he only sold $45,000 and his second month was not much better at only $49,000. This did not deter him for long however, because the next month he sold $150,000 and set (at the time) the company record. The next month, he sold $250,000.
“This sales process is proven to work; however, my story demonstrates that you also need a strong will to win and thick skin to be successful in this business,” says Dominic. “I am not a natural born salesperson: I was trained to be proficient at sales by mastering the Grosso Sales Process, working hard, being competitive and understanding that success is merely a decision. Once you make the choice to be the best and get in the right mindset, success in this business is inevitable.”
