Malco Tools Promises Some Exciting Demonstrations at METALCON

At METALCON, Malco's booth will feature live tool demonstrations and interactions with their engineering and marketing experts. 

In a recent episode of MetalCast, host Karen Edwards sat down with Jon Olson, a member of the marketing team at Malco Products, to discuss the history and values of Malco Tools, their line of metal and specialty tools and their exciting plans for showcasing products and offering demonstrations at METALCON. 

Malco Tools, established in 1950 by the Keymer family, identified a gap in the sheet metal industry and took the initiative to provide innovative solutions. "The Keymers wanted to see the company grow well beyond where they were engaging," Jon said, reflecting on the company's origins. "Our core values still today leverage engineering solutions and teamwork." 

But it's not just about tools for Malco. The company emphasizes community involvement, taking part in SkillsUSA, the Head of the Class program and Habitat for Humanity builds. Jon added, "We're very lucky as a community, or an engaged member of the community I should say, to get the opportunity to walk the walk... giving back to the community through events." Their commitment also extends to ensuring a thriving ecosystem within the industry by supporting distributors. 

In terms of products, Malco Tools' offerings cater to a vast array of needs for sheet metal professionals. Celebrated products like turbo shears, which have been a significant product for the company for two decades, Andy's MC12L Snip, C-RHEX products for fastening and specialty tools for cladding show the company's dedication to innovation. 

METALCON attendees have an exciting opportunity ahead. Malco Tools will be showcasing their products, including the newly introduced line of metal benders. "We invite everybody to meet us at METALCON, where we'll be demonstrating at 20-minute intervals these various components of this end-to-end solution," Jon said.
