Texas Home Gets a Fine and Dandy Metal Roof Upgrade

By choosing a modern metal panel from Metal Depots, the Dandy family gave their home a whole new lifespan while upgrading its aesthetics! 

Texas homeowner, Mark Dandy, knew he wanted to install a high-quality metal roof when renovating his home’s aging and deteriorating fiberglass shingle roof. There were only two companies he trusted to get the job done – Metal Depots and K+T Construction.  

As a sales representative for Metal Depots, Mark Dandy of Magnolia, Texas, knew that he had to replace his home’s aged and leaking fiberglass shingles with the finest metal roof. The Texas home had withstood hail damage and other harsh weather conditions that had deteriorated the fiberglass shingles over time, and to prevent any further damage to the home, he enlisted the help of contractor Gary Kana, owner of K+T Construction, to get the job done.  

Dandy and Kana went with the Metal Depots’ PBU Panel in 26-gauge Galvalume steel on the beautiful home's roof, installing the panels right over the existing shingles, giving the home’s exterior a charming and appealing look while saving both time and money. Installing 3,000 square feet of the PBU panels, Kana gave the Dandy residence a whole new extended lifetime and protection against harsh weather while also boosting the home’s curb appeal.

Known as the “Austin look,” these Galvalume metal roofing panels are giving homes across Texas and the rest of the United States a unique twist to a once traditional style home.
