When to Buy a Portable Rollforming Machine

Haley Bohmer June 2023 influencer

MCS Influencer Hayley Boehmer says there are several factors to consider when deciding if it's time to buy a portable rollforming machine.

Editor's note: Below is a transcript of a video of Hayley answering this question on Vidyard. You can read the transript or watch the video here.

When should a contractor you're consider getting his own portable rollforming machine? I would say if you are buying panels on a regular basis, and you're starting to see that maybe deliveries aren't happening on time or you're not getting what you ordered or there's a back order, or there's damage, any number of those things can occur when you're buying panels from another source.

Then it would be a good time to talk about getting your own machine and to create your own destiny. You can make them per job, and you can take them directly to a job site and the savings, at least with a New Tech Machinery machine versus buying panels is anywhere from nine to 30%. So that's quite significant, especially if you are doing these jobs on a daily basis.

Hayley Bohmer is the Account Manager at New Tech Machinery. See her full bio here.
