Association of Women in the Metal Industries (AWMI) is an organization of professionals, founded in 1981, to promote and develop the growth of women in the metal industries. AWMI believes that women in similar industries can benefit themselves and their companies through relationships, education and shared knowledge. The programs and activities of AWMI are intended to enhance members' skills and experience, address challenges confronting the industry and promote members' career growth with the ultimate goal of increasing the number of women employed in the metal industries.
Membership is open to both women and men who are seeking to develop all aspects of their professional development and career advancement.
In 2005, AWMI created the Corporate Membership category. These are companies who support the mission, goals and objectives of AWMI, recognize the benefits of individual membership/board involvement for their employees, want to help fund our operating expenses and seek to take advantage of the promotional benefits afforded them as Corporate Members. AWMI offers multiple corporate membership levels designed to meet organizations of all sizes and goals. From entry-level options to premium memberships, every level includes valuable perks such as reduced employee dues, event discounts, marketing exposure and recognition within the metal industries community, making it easy to invest at a level that aligns with your organization’s priorities.
Invest in your team with an AWMI Corporate Membership.
At AWMI, we believe in the power of mentorship to inspire, develop and elevate professionals in the metals industries. The MENTOR program is designed to connect AWMI members with experienced industry leaders, providing guidance, knowledge-sharing and career growth opportunities.
Whether you’re seeking guidance as a mentee, looking to give back as a mentor or choosing to engage in both roles, you are joining a community that fosters professional development, collaboration and success.
